“My wife and I got engaged in Boston in 2023 and shortly thereafter relocated to our hometown area of Connecticut. We both have deep roots in the great State of Vermont and knew immediately we wanted to celebrate our wedding in the greater Burlington area.

We began our search for a venue and quickly realized we would need help if we were to pull off the wedding we both pictured. After some online research, a few phone interviews and discussion with our families, we decided we would entrust our big day with Julie Olson.

Throughout our 2 year engagement, our relationship with Julie grew well beyond trusted advice. What a godsend!

“Julie was our best decision of our entire wedding, which is saying a lot because our day was perfect and we worked with a lot of incredible vendors. We were initially overwhelmed by what it would take to plan a wedding, and from the very first call, Julie put us at ease that we would be able to put together a day that fit who we are. We had a lot of decision paralysis, but with every call, Julie cut down the task list into bite sized pieces and focused on what needed to be done more immediately vs what could be back burnered and we left every call feeling 10x better and much more on task. She listened to what was important to us (for example fitting in a hike the morning of) and gave us suggestions and recommendations for how we would make that happen. She also helped us find many of our vendors - providing numerous recommendations of vendors that she had good experiences with in the past or even sourcing more from her network.

On the weekend of, Julie was so organized and calm. More than willing to engage in last minute detail brainstorming (like figuring out if we use a table runner or not). If there were any fires on the day of, we had absolutely no idea. Her and her assistant, Sydney, were calm, cool, collected, and so fun while simultaneously doing EVERYTHING. They kept us hydrated, showing up at our sides with cups/water bottles all throughout the day & night, and truly allowed us to stay present and not worry about a thing.
